Mi Saksham™
A year-long mentored path for Self Help Groups, nano businesses and first-time entrepreneurs — not a training course that ends at a certificate.
Mi Saksham is an entrepreneurship and livelihood development programme for Self Help Groups, women entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs and nano businesses, with a particular focus on economically weaker communities. It starts from the position that everyone has the potential to build an enterprise given the right guidance, skills and opportunity — and that traditional skills are already a business waiting for the commercial layer around them.
What makes it different is that the mentorship runs for a year. Rather than a one-off training programme, we walk alongside each entrepreneur at every stage: identifying the right business opportunity, developing the product, pricing, branding, packaging, financial planning, digital marketing, finding customers and growing.
Experts monitor progress continuously, give hands-on support, work through the problems that actually stop a business, and open market connections. The goal is not to start businesses but to create confident, self-reliant entrepreneurs who raise their family's income, employ other people and add to their community's economy.
